Braces and Rebond. and Piercing

Ni hao! I think its been a while since I posted a POST. :)

But anyways, I apologize for the late info about my BRACES and REBOND and EAR PIERCING.

Soo, Let's start with my BRACES:

I got them last last last last week. on a saturday.

My dentist said putting on the braces will take 30 minutes.

and guess what time I got out? FROM 1:00 to 3:00 PM

How wonderful. EXCELLENT. :|

It didn't really hurt but as I started my first CHEW, the pain came and it lasted for about 2 days.

And 'till now, no pain came. SO I'm waiting for my next adjustment. :D

But while I'm waiting for the next month (every adjustment: every month) My dentist placed some ANNOYING Molar Bands. I swear, they are annoying and irritating to the tongue. especially when they're in the LOWER Molars. If you're really curious how painful it is, Try rubbing your tongue on your brackets HARD and do it 24/7 (unless you have braces, HAHA!)

Its been 5 days OF HELL (and counting!) and I've been telling my mum about the uncontrollable PAIN. *flashback*

"Mumaa, My molar bands REALLY hurt. I cant do anything! cause just a single move from my tongue, it's gonna hurt ALOT. Mummy, can you tell the dentist to take it off please??" I said.

"It was YOU who wanted braces, YOU have to face it. NO backing out."

She said..with a straight face.

And I was explaining back and forth but NO LUCK. :(

I feel so abandoned. :((

So anyway, my tongue is ripped (i mean the skin.) and my OWN mother doesn't care. she said I DESERVED it.

phhhhhfffttt, EXCUSE ME?

REBOND:

I had my hair rebonded like, last saturday too! :) and guess how many hours it took? 5? 6? 4? WRONG. it took 8 hours,, 8 WHOLE HOURS.

It didn't seem THAT long to me cause I had my iPod and I could play GAMES and ETC. But there was no Wi-Fi. So I couldn't do THIS post on that particular day. :(

So, I'm not supposed to wash my hair for 3 days. But I ended up washing it on the third day cause my scalp was getting itchy due to heat and sweat. :))

*Cough cough* how embarrassing.

And I guess it's okay, I was able to adjust with the hotness of the environment AND my long hair (my hair's like higher than the waist line, I think?)

EAR PIERCING:

I had my both ears PIERCED last month after our Periodicals

(or let's say, after MASSIVE Studying for 5 DAYS?)

And it was scary at first cause when I was ready to get pierced, she didn't shoot yet, but when I was relaxed, SHE DID IT. and it SCARED ME.

and my face was like O.O then, I starting jumping and waving my hands on my face for air cause it was freakishly HOT. I don't know why but my ears felt HOT.

The lady was like, laughing cause I reacted so late and when she did the other ear, the same thing happened.

I was TOO scared to move my ears after she told me that I should avoid hitting it cause it might cause infection or something? And it felt HOT! and painful. that's why I was so scared to move my head. :))

and it took FOREVER for me to fall asleep cause I move a lot when I sleep.

So, if any of you are planning to pierce any of your body parts, I recommend you do it in the morning or something. Just make sure that you won't go to bed STRAIGHT. cause going to bed JUST after you had your ears pierced is gonna make you feel scared.

Mine's getting better. And I feel GREAT about having two holes in my ear but some of my friends disagree cause it make me look like gangster-ish hobos. Or HOBOS-who-think-they're-cool. :))

Braces and Rebond. and Piercing made me look so different now.

But changes are good, but not TOO much. :)

CISV!!!!!!!

Yes. my new topic is about CISV!
if you haven't heard of it yet, it's a CAMP.
There are LOADS of places to choose from.
If i were to choose, I'd choose CISV USA. :)
Gahhhhh. I wanna join. My sister wants to join. WE WANT TO JOIN.
But if my sister and I were gonna join CISV,
I bet my sister will choose CISV Canada. She had always wanted to go to Canada and live there. :))
But just one problem. It's kinda ahh...you know,, EXPENSIVE.
Yeah, sad.but true.
They've got this scholarship stuff and I've been dying to get that scholarship.
and oh yeah, GOING to your specific camp is gonna cost ALOT already.
How much more if I'd enroll in CISV??
So, I've heard of this CAMP just last year when both of my classmates were away for Finland for 2 whole months.
(They chose CISV Finland and every camp is for 2 months, I guess)
We had school, of course. But they still caught up with us since they had tutor with our teachers about the lessons and quizzes they were gonna miss.
So, after 2 months.
They arrived and I asked one of them..
I asked, "Johanna, what on EARTH were you doing in Finland, GOOFING AROUND While WE, your PRECIOUS classmates are studying VERY hard to pass 5th grade!?!"
And she replied, "No, OF COURSE WE WERENT GOOFING AROUND! We were joining this camp called CISV. Super fun."
I said, "Phhhfffttt, staying in a camp like CIvv- whatever is like drinking lots and LOTS of bubble tea when you're not supposed to!"
(what I meant was, It was like cutting classes when you know its illegal)
So she said, " It's CISV not CIVV! Sandrine, You should google it if you really wanna see how FUN it is."
And so I googled CISV
and damn, it seemed really FUN!
So I told my mom,, But it didn't turn out pretty good. :(
*FLASHBACK*
"Mum! MUM!!! You should really look at this CISV thing, It seems really fun. Can I-"
"NO." *with a straight face*
"B-but I really wanna-"
"I said NO." she said.
"But I really really wanna try CISV!" Getting watery eyes already.
"Okay. But how much is the enrollment fee?"
*Spirits lifted* "Dunno. But my classmate said its SUPER DUPER EXPENSIVE" :D
"Okay."
"YOU'LL LET MEEEEE??" *really happy inside*
"No, You're grounded."
and she left.
*FLASHBACK ENDED*
I know, we're not rich. I'm just a poor kiddo..in my opinion.
So, I guess I'll just keep on DREAMING. :)

CISV! CiSv,
You should give me the scholarship thing..really. :))
But seriously,, PLEASE?

Bangs!!!!!

If you didn't know, I HATED bangs because I used to think it would make you FUGLY.
But now that my bangs grew really long now, I think I want it back.
So, I've been persuading my mom AND my hairstylist (or somethng) to let me have BANGS.
But no can do, they wouldn't let me. :(
My mom said i would get ALOT more pimples,
He (the one who usually cuts my hair) says I will look ugly....and old.
But then I told him that JUST make the bangs look good on me.
"I don't CARE what kind of bangs you'd choose for me, i JUST want bangs"
and now I have BANGS. and he said I look ugly. but I dont look ugly.
Since he was the one who cut my hair and it was him who knows how to make my hair fit my face.
So, I'm happy. :)

Thanks for the BANGS.
It took me a while to convince you to let me have bangs.
I LOVE the way you make my hair lovable. :)
Just don't forget to make it LAYERED.
You know I will die of humiliation if my hair isn't layered.
But for now, ARIGATO. :)

10th Sip International Competition!!!!

To my fellow classmates who keep on asking me why I wasn't around last Friday....

I had to ditch the afternoon classes so I could catch up with my flight
for Saturday's INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION!!!! :)

And If I hadn't ditched the afternoon classes,
I could've been left behind already.
Don't believe me?
Well, When we got to the airport and did all the scanning and stuff,
They already started paging our names.
like, "SANDRINE JANE SIA, LAST CALL."
We were all like running like MAD going to the airplane part already.
Oh Yeah!!!!. :))
lmao. And when we got inside,
some lady called me, "Excuse me,"
And I looked,
And she was just SMILING>>> Like she knew me or something.
It was kinda weird but it made me feel FAMOUS. LOL!
Soo, we finally got inside and when we were going to our seats,
My SIP friends were there
and they were all like, "Hi Sandrine!!"
And I was greeting each and every one of them.
PLUS, we were noisy. :))

And so, we arrived and we got to the Hotel SUPER DUPER late.
cause we had to go to Parañaque to drop my sister in our tita's house.
and it kinda took a while for us to leave.
But that isnt part of this post.
So let's skip it. :)

Soo. We went to our seats waiting for the parade to start.
and soon enough, the parade started and we all went back to our seats again since we had to go out and get in again.
And it was SCARING the s*** out of me cause,,,
I have been waiting for soooo long.
and NOW, it's here!!!!!
Few minutes...HOURS later.
the Kaira lady blew the whistle as the signal then TURN and ANSWER!!!
my hands were shaking cause I was MORTIFIED and it was FREEZING.
But I don't care, I just needed to do the best I could do
and VOILA, she blew the whistle again(For us to stop answering already)

Soo, it was break time and it was time for the medals that are to be given to everyone. PLUS 2 Fish Crackers, I think??
Nah, all I know it was JUNK FOOD. :)
And then an Indian dude, suddenly threw it(the junk food) at me
and he and his friends were running JUST as I looked on who did the act.
And my friend beside me was all like, AYYEEE
*Kind of sound used by Filipinos whenever LOVE is in the AIR*
But I dont think he liked me cause,,
I kinda understood what he said in INDIAN LANGUAGE,
He was saying "Free! for Free"
Well, Maybe he really wanted to give it cause he wanted to be friends with me,
or maybe he just wanted to dispose it and gave it to me??
Sooo, yeah. I had about,,, 10 FAILED ATTEMPTS to ask for their email add
(ALL OF THEM, not only the Indians)
Cause Indonesians DON'T understand English.
and I get this terrible headache whenever I try to ask the INDIANS and the others.
Yeah, cause they're soo cool!
they're like in Grand Module already. (grand module is the highest level in SIP)
And the results was I was 1ST RUNNER UP!!! yippeee! Though I wanted LEVEL CHAMPION, I guess its better to have 1ST RUNNER UP rather than nothing at all.
So I'm Contended and slept peacefully.

So I guess that's it.
I still have to study for my special test in Science since I missed it last Friday.
And as Chairperson, I need to do ALOT of stuffs for my class's sake.
:D

Goodbye Summer, Hello School

Since school is gonna start TOMORROW
( 15th day of June 2010 )
Umm, I've heard that other countries would have their summer vacation in the time when our school starts.. I guess??
And I kinda feel TENSED and TIRED.
This is the very first time of my school life to feel like this whenever school's coming
cause my usual reaction was EXCITEMENT
But I have no idea what's happening to me now.
Maybe I wasn't ready to let go of SUMMER yet
or maybe because I'm graduating this year
Which means,,
Difficult lessons, annoying teachers, retarded classmates, slutty batch mates,
PEER PRESSURE but worse.
What my friends usually tell me when I say these things,
they'd go all,
"SANDRINE SIA, DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT SEEING YOUR FRIENDS AGAIN, DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT MEETING NEW FRIENDS??"
Damnit, I wasn't taking about YOU guys,,
I was talking about THEM. i say.. THEM!!!!!
( If you don't get it, i want to explain but what if THEY are reading this. so i'll just tell you when we meet,, someday. :)) )

Soo...I guess this is IT. :)

To SUMMER: I will miss you for sure. but look at the bright side, we'll see each other after 10 MONTHS. if you could wait for me THAT long. :D

To SCHOOL: err, Hi again. Since last school year didn't go out well, how about we try to make THIS school year a kickass? you better get along with me.. OR ELSE. :|

To my Tkd Friends.....

On the 4th day of June 2010 was the very last day I had been with my tkd friends.
Though we (my sis and I) were very late in coming, they didn't seem to care.
'Cause it's better to be LATE than never.
So I took pictures/videos of them while they were having fun swimming, kayaking and riding the jet ski.
Though I couldn't join them, all that mattered to me was I was there.

I still want you as my friend even if you hate me deep inside.

I'm sorry if you think I'm a loner but I just don't have much to say.
I'm sorry if I can't be like my sister. But I'm just ME.
I'm sorry if I'm a weakling but I'm just too shy.
I'm sorry if I get hurt if you don't text me when you do to my sis I guess i finally realize that my sis sure is BETTER than me...:(

You made me smile so much that I've forgotten how to cry already.
But now that summer's over....
My eyes aren't crying but my HEART is.
I thank you for the summer and I will MISS you
